Scunthorpe RUFC was formed in 1929 and we are now one of the top teams in the 3 Counties of Notts, Lincs & Derby and certainly one of the top 100 clubs in England, out of 2000 clubs registered to play.
With six male and female senior sides, and anything up to ten junior teams playing each weekend, our involvement with the community is substantial.
All our players take pride in their involvement and enjoy travelling both in the UK and further afield. Our club stimulates ambitions of younger players whose dreams roll on from there to County and International honours.
Weekends in the rugby season see the clubhouse buzzing with activity and good spirits. Ideal entertainment facilities are available on First XV home match days and private party and meeting rooms are available all year round.
